Grand Opening!

Today is the Grand Opening of Under The Radar News, an shady, underground, and borderline illegal informational news blog dedicated to covering the news in computers and technology (with a little of news on everything else going on in the world just for flavor) that nobody knows about, but everybody should. In commemorance of the Grand Opening, I will give away two Gmail invites to the first two people who comment (and leave me their e-mail address) on this post.

This website is run, managed, and modified solely by me at this point (and is still unconstruction and in beta), c.thompson (not actual name, but your nickname for me on this site). This website covers news that I have collected from well known and lesser known sources, as well as news I have come upon myself, but none the less, covers news that I find significant, informative, and most of all true. While my opinions and the news covered my be swayed by my own biased, it is news that covers things you aren't likely to here anywhere else, and most importantly is truthful. I follow Techtv (now G4TECHTV, tear) personalities' websites (especially those on my favorite show TSS), Pulse, , as well as news from big names like CNN, MSNBC, C|NET, ZDNet, etc.

This is a site for intelligent people looking for computer and technology news and information that is lesser known and very important. This site is also a place for such people to discuss the news and debate it (you can do so by commenting on each post). Now, while I encourage such discussion, debating, and interaction with each other about the news, this is a PG website and should not become a place of heated disputes, hatred, profanity, or any such foul nature, for if it does, I will edit, and delete your post, and/or ban you for this site. And if such acts become to common and often I may, and will do so if necessary, shut down this site, temporarily or even permanently. Remember, please lets keep this a friendly, family like environment.

Now, remeber this site is still undergoing construction and development, and is still in its beta stages. As long sa there is interest in this site, and I have the time to dedicate to it, the site will be here. Information about the site's progress will be posted from time to time, so stay tuned. More links, news, and information will be up as soon as possible. I ask that you please don't hesitate to send me an e-mail regarding feedback on the site, broken links (etc.), credible news of your own (etc.) - with sources and all the information please, or any other concerns you have about the site. Please send your e-mails with the title "Blog Feedback", so that I may sort the blog e-mails from all the rest. I also, please ask that you don't take my e-mail address and spread it around this is for site feedback use only, and that you please do not spam my inbox with unnecessary, or unsolicited e-mail. I put out my e-mail address so that you can have a say in the site and improve it, not to spam my inbox with a clutter of junk mail and waste my time.

Sorry for such a lengthy post (and Thank You for reading over it), but an explaination, information, and ground rules for this site had to be set and given out. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, we can enjoy the news and information that this site will bring. My final request is that you give this site word of mouth and pass this site onto your friends, family and peers. For further progess, additions, news, information and more, please, stay tuned!
